Mega Evolution (ME01) opened the Mega era with a taller rarity ladder than any set before it: Illustration Rares, Special Illustration Rares, gold hyper rares, and the brand-new Mega Hyper Rare tier at the very top, whose odds stretch into the hundreds of boxes. Knowing the rates below helps you set honest expectations for a booster box — plenty of mid-tier hits, with the top of the ladder remaining a genuine long shot.
