The Pokémon Singles Price Gap: What 1,554 Cards Show (Q3 2026)

Atsumio tracks the lowest live listing for Pokémon TCG singles on two of the biggest marketplaces: Cardmarket (prices in EUR) and TCGplayer (prices in USD). For this report we looked at every card that currently has an active listing on both marketplaces and costs at least $5 on the cheaper side — 1,554 cards as of 24 July 2026.

The headline numbers

  • The median gap between the two marketplaces' lowest listings was 183%. The average gap was 444%, pulled up by a long tail of extreme cases.
  • Cardmarket had the lower listing for 94% of these cards (1,467 of 1,554).
  • Only 63 cards — about 4% — were priced within 10% of each other on the two marketplaces.

The gap by price band

  • $5–20 cards (1,082 cards): average gap 516%.
  • $20–100 cards (388 cards): average gap 290%.
  • $100+ cards (84 cards): average gap 236%.

The pattern is consistent: the gap narrows as prices rise, but even for $100+ cards the two marketplaces rarely agree. Part of this is structural — Cardmarket's lowest listing often reflects Europe's larger supply of raw singles and includes lower-condition copies, while TCGplayer's floor tends to sit higher. Shipping, import fees and condition still matter when you actually buy.

How we measured

For each card we take the lowest active listing on each marketplace, in its own currency. To compare the two sides we convert EUR at roughly 1.08 to USD — this factor is used only for the comparison in this report; on Atsumio itself every price is always shown in its own currency.
